HOW ANY BODY CAN LOOK HOT AT THE GYM

Let's face it—for many women, our gym look is not our best look. Ratty tees, baggy sweats—we throw on any old thing and hope we don't run into anyone we know. But if you ask fitness fashion icon Dee Burton, that's not the best strategy for getting the most out of your workout. "When you look sexy and pulled together, you'll work better, harder and longer. And you'll have more fun!"

But how do you look hot in skimpy, tight-fitting workout outfits if you aren't built like a model? Easy, says Dee, who is the founder of the online fitnesswear store Deezfit.com. Like any other kind of fashion, it's all about dressing for your body type.

Tall

If you have trouble finding pants that fit, try capris. There are so many fun options, and they were made for long-legged girls like you. You might also want to check out the Adjustable Front Pant from Brasil Sul—a super-flattering style with 34-inch inseams.

Short

Give yourself a leggier body line with black from the waist down, including black shoes. It really helps! Bypass super-wide legs, big splashy designs and horizontal stripes, which make you look shorter and wider.

Busty

Doubling up on bras provides the comfort and support you need, and lets you have fun layering colors. Try a black top over a brighter one. It's a pretty way to get some color going while staying streamlined on top. Balance your curves up top with a flared leg pant.

Flat-chested

Any top with a V-neck is perfect for you. If you want to supplement your assets try one of the new padded tanks. Brasil Sul makes a great one in black with pretty contrast trim.

Boyish/Athletic

If you are built straight up and down with not much definition at the waist, use pattern to create curves and movement. Margarita styles are perfect, with their dramatic, rainbow-hued graphic designs.

Carrying a little extra

Premium brands made from high-performance fabrics make a big difference. They really hold you in, for a smooth, sleek line. A sleek, simple pant that's not too low-rise, like the Basic Pant from Margarita is perfect. Over it, go for longer tunic-style tops with a little shirring or draping for a sexy fit that's still forgiving.
